I hadn't intended on starting a comic book section. Then professionals started showing up in the rec.arts.comics.* hierarchy. At the time, services such as Google Groups didn't exist, so I wanted to preserve some of their (and others') posts for posterity. Things expanded on their own from there, but I'm (mostly) out of the newsgroup archiving business now. I leave these pages up as a historical curiosity.
