Take the Huntsville to Chattanooga via Monteagle route from Huntsville to Chattanooga.

The second day's shorter mileage works well, allowing time to arrive in Chattanooga before rush hour traffic and to enjoy the downtown area that evening, also leaving us well rested for the long ride to Sweetwater tomorrow.

Stay at the American Eagle Inn in Monteagle, the Days Inn - Rivergate in downtown Chattanooga.
