2nd Edition Blount County Cemetery Books Now Available!!

Thanks for your continuing visits to my old site. I haven't forgotten about you. I'm still at work on my Confederates for Blount, Winston and Cullman Counties. I often work on the project most every day as my schedule permits. (I still work for a living and have elderly parents and a mortgage to look after). However, there's so much material to review and compile it just takes time. I'm hoping 2009 is the year the books begin to become available. Believe me, it will be worth the wait. So far, I have over 1200 unindexed pages on Blount, over 500 on Cullman and almost 300 on Winston of information heretofore unavailable all in one place. It represents everything I've been able to find from microfilm, newspapers, and cemeteries on area Confederates in a three county area.

I am looking for high quality scans of old Confederate soldiers from Blount, Cullman and Winston. If you have any, please email them to me and I will try to include them in the forthcoming books. I prefer scans of originals at 300 dpi (dots per inch) in .PSD or .JPG format. Keep in mind scans of xeroxed pictures don't reproduce very well. Of course, I will credit the contributor for the picture.
