Some Common Symptoms

The motor makes a "buzzing" sound when
it's plugged in.
This
is probably the most common issue that I repair. This is normally
due
to a problem with the gear-set inside the unit. If you have
questions,
first check the "Frequent Q's" link at the bottom of the page. If
you
would like to contact me, you can find my contact information on the
"Contact" link below and to the left.

The motor runs, but it turns really
slow or it stops after running for a short time.
This
is also a common issue that I repair. This could be due to the
gear-set or the electric motor itself. If you have questions,
first check the "Frequent Q's" link at the bottom of the page. If
you
would like to contact me, you can find my contact information on the
"Contact" link below and to the left.

There is no sound at all when the unit
is plugged in.
This
is probably the least common repair that I make. Sometimes this
can be an issue with the electric motor and the motor has to be
replaced. In order to determine this issue, I will have to inspect
the unit. After inspection, if it requires a new motor, I will
contact you and see how you want me to proceed. If you do not want it
repaired, all it will cost you is the return shipping. I do not
charge for the inspection. As of 2022, White Mountain no longer makes these motors.

This
is a personal service that I provide. I would like fellow owners of
White Mountain freezers to continue to enjoy their vintage ice cream
freezers. I am in no way, whatsoever, affiliated with White
Mountain Corporation or The Rival Company.
