Hey
there, come on in to the Electric Blues Cafe! I hope you find something
interesting here!
Some
basic stuff about me...
OK, I guess an introduction
is in order, so I'll keep it short... Hi, my name is John, and I LOVE music,
especially the blues. I always have and I always will. As far back as I can
remember, music has been a very important part of my life. Jimi Hendrix is one
of my all-time favorite artists, and Stevie Ray Vaughan is
also a favorite. There's also a guy on the scene named Kenny Wayne Shepherd,
and I think that he's going to become another one of the "guitar
greats", so check him out. His first album, "LEDBETTER
HEIGHTS", absolutely shattered the blues charts, and his second album,
"TROUBLE
IS..." is on it's way to the top also, so give him a listen! Man, I
LOVE the blues!! Playing the blues on my 1960 Reissue Gibson Les
Paul is my all-time favorite pastime. There's nothing like the feeling I
get when I grab a string and bend the heck out of it and make it cry!!! I also
love to play the blues on a Stratocaster I built. Here are a few pictures of it.
Also, I enjoy refinishing
instruments in my spare time (when I have any!), and on these pages I've
got some pictures of guitars and necks I've finished. Anyhow, I hope you find
something here that interests you, but if you don't, hey, I tried. Thanks for
stopping by!
