Here are a few pictures of me and a Stratocaster style guitar I built. The body is solid swamp ash, and finished in a gorgeous nitrocellulose 3-color sunburst finish. I put a black pickguard on it, and I installed two Seymour Duncan "Classic Stacks" in the neck and middle positions, and a Seymour Duncan "Lil '59" stacked humbucker in the bridge. I love it!! I can get everything from Stevie Ray Vaughan to Angus Young from one guitar! The neck is a Warmoth custom radius 24 3/4" scale conversion neck, which means it's a strat with a Gibson Les Paul scale. Pretty cool idea! Makes it a lot easier for me to move back and forth between my Les Paul and the strat without having to readjust to different scale lengths. I also finished the neck myself in an amber tinted nitrocellulose lacquer, just like the big boys use, and applied the aftermarket headstock decal. To look at the guitar, it looks almost identical to Fender's SRV signature model, and a lot of people mistake it for one. They find it hard to believe that I built it! Anyhow, enjoy the pics!
