The Paint Rock Valley Loop is 76 miles, mostly flat-to-rolling with no long climbs. It travels on good pavement through two of the most beautiful valleys in the area, Hurricane Creek and the Paint Rock Valley. Directions to the start at Madison County High School:
Travel East on US-72 from Huntsville. After passing the Moores Mill Road intersection (just after descending out of Huntsville), go 6.9 miles. Turn Left on Brock Road and Madison County High School will be on your left after 0.2 miles. If you reach Gurley on US-72 you've gone too far.
