Uncle Oliver had to move to Arizona about 1947 because of problems with asthma.  He died in Phoenix.

Mabel is the great-granddaughter of Ephriam Reed Kilpatrick.  Her grandmother was Hannah Francis Kilpatrick Stone and her father Ephriam Reed Stone.

LATTIE MAY CATES was born June 15, 1900, and died February 03, 1969 in Huntsville, Madison County, Alabama. She married (1) THOMAS HERSCHELL PARKERSON. She married (2) DEWEY GEER December 16, 1914. She married (3) JAMES PORTER KILPATRICK October 20, 1927 in Flintville Lincoln County,Tennessee, son of EPHRIAM KILPATRICK and MARTHA LANKFORD.

Notes for DEWEY GEER:  Dewey died of meningitis.

Notes for JAMES PORTER KILPATRICK:  Grandmother probably met Grandpa when she moved in with Grandma and Grandpa Cates in Elora, Tennessee after Dewey Geer died.

Notes for THOMAS HERSCHELL PARKERSON: I called Mr. Parkserson "Grandpa". Grandmother married him when I was about 6 or 7 year old, and he quickly became my grandpa. He was half indian and had worked on the railroad. We used to take long walks together, and he let play with his tools. He gave me a barlow pocket knife which I still have today.
