“Celebrating Mollie Sugden”

In November/December 2002, many PBS stations aired Celebrating Mollie Sugden: An "Are You Being Served?" Special, a tribute to the legendary actress who brought Mrs. Slocombe to life in AYBS? and Grace and Favour. The special also included clips from her other series (such as Hugh and I), reminiscences from her AYBS? co-stars, and glimpses into her roles as wife, mother, and expert cook. The special is also available on VHS (only to those who pledge $120 to their local public television station) and on DVD (the bonus disc in AYBS? box set 2).
