The Dragon (Later to become known as Part I) By Nathaniel Patton as dictated to his father 12/95, Age 6 Once upon a time a dragon wanted to find the castle of the king. He went out to the woods and he didn't find the king's castle so he went back home and he thought and he thought. Then he went back out and found a castle. He went in and he asked the king, "Can I be king?" The king said, "I'm sorry but I'm taking over being king." The dragon went back home crying. He though and then went out to look for the queen's castle but he couldn't find it. He went back home and he thought and he thought. Then he went back out, back home, back out and he found the castle. He asked the queen, "Can I be queen?" And the queen said, "No, I am queen." The dragon went back home crying. Then he stopped crying and went back to the king's castle and asked him again. He still said "No." Then he went to the queen's castle and he went in and the queen still said "No." He went home crying. Then he went back to the king and he went in and he asked the king, "Can I be king?" And the king said "Yes" and the dragon lived happily ever after. The End.
