CURRENTS


   	          Existence is like floating free
                    in the infinite,
		   an endless entropic ether,
	              no top
	             no bottom

		   just suspended..

		    an immense emulsion
		     of humanity,
		   ephemeral droplets    
		      struggling

                   amidst one another,
                   amongst the inanimate; 

		   objects approach 
		 in then out
		     some within grasp-

                           consciousness,
		                   awareness,

		   time driven reactions
		 to currents 
		 to things perceived,
		 to things you     
		    do not 
		   will not
		  can not
		 perceive.

		    the inevitable-
		 you can only
		  slightly disturb,
		 alter lightly
		  your strength is little
		 in relative terms
		no less
		 no greater
		 than those around you,
		therefore
		 choose carefully
		    act gracefully
		       like the dancer
		          with strength 
		        all that you have.

		'Frain from frantic
		   senseless thrashing
		 'frain from 
		  lying scared,
		  motionlessness
		  creates dead water..

		    to find peace 
		       find control  
		    of yourself.

	        for you are

  		         a
		       point
		      within-
		     and this
		     is all
		      you
		      will
		       ever
                         be.
