Detective Thomas E. Dewey

Character Sketch

 Thomas E. Dewey

AGE:
Mid-30's

HEIGHT:
5'9"

WEIGHT:
175 lbs.

HAIR:
Brown

EYES:
Brown

YEARS ON FORCE:
Most likely a decade or more to have attained the status of detective. He currently works at the 27th District.

PERSONAL PROFILE:
Dewey is a first grade detective and is Jack Huey's new partner. Like his predecessor, Louis Gardino, Dewey is rather brash and isn't afraid to speak his own mind, even if it's not the smartest thing to do. He's made a fool of himself at least once, and has antagonized Stan into actually punching him (Strange Bedfellows). Like many other cops at the 27th District, he is perplexed by Fraser.

If Dewey struck it rich, he'd like to open up his stand up comedy club (which could allude to actor Tom Melissis's career, as he once worked in stand-up comedy).

FAMILY:
According to the official Alliance 'bio,' Dewey has family in the area.

LOVE LIFE:
So far we have seen no women in his life, but there are bound to be some.

FRIENDS:
He is Jack Huey's new partner, and they seem to get along decently (they haven't killed each other yet). According to the official Alliance web site, Dewey has friends in the area.

RELIGION:
None mentioned.

HOME:
None mentioned. Sounds like an apartment kind of guy, though.

INJURIES:

  • He was bitten on the hand by radical terrorist type Adolph Kuzma. (Dead Guy Running)
  • Got a black eye from being hit by a hockey puck. (Dead Guy Running)

ATTIRE:
Prefers suits, sometimes brown, and has been seen in subdued red, green and tan shirts. Fortunately he does not have his predecessor's choice in clothing, which had been pretty bad.

MISCELLANEOUS:

  • Plays hockey. (Dead Guy Running)
  • Likes to be the one to drive the car, so Huey's stuck in the passenger seat (much to the man's annoyance).
