Written By: David Cole Directed By: Guest Stars: Regular Cast: |
Brief Synopsis A quiet dinner in Chinatown turns interesting when the restaurant owner's son is kidnapped by a local ganglord. The whole situation gets worse when the FBI steps in to take over the case. Detailed Overview While dining out in Chinatown, Fraser "hears" a kidnapping take place and must follow down his earwitness clues in order to save the young man's life. With Ray's help Fraser discovers that the victim is the son of Henry Lee, a Chinatown restaurateur, and that the kidnapping is an effort to convince Lee to stop rallying his neighbours against the spreading influence of the local ganglord, Charlie Wong. Henry Lee is terrified for his son's safety and sees no alternative but to bend to the ganglord's wishes. Fraser, however, advises him to "trust in the law." A fine and noble concept -- until two power hungry FBI agents force their way onto the case and "trusting in the law" threatens to cost Henry Lee his son's life. Music
