FIRE DEPARTMENT

Valley 2 Volunteer Fire Department is located in the tiny town of Trenton, Alabama. Founded in the mid 1980's by the late J.T. Vandiver, Valley 2 serves approximately 2000 people in the communities of Garth, Trenton, and Hollytree, Alabama.

 

Valley 2 Volunteer Fire Department has the largest mountainous service area in Jackson County.

Valley 2 is a member of both the Jackson County Association of Volunteer Fire Departments and the Alabama Association of Volunteer Fire Departments.

 

The men and women of Valley 2 Volunteer Fire

Department serve their community with pride and dedication 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!!!

When I am called to duty God
Wherever flames may rage
Give me the strength to save some life
Whatever be its age
Help me embrace a little child
Before it is too late
Or save an older person from
The horror of that fate
Enable me to be alert and
Hear the weakest shout
And quickly and efficiently
To put the fire out
I want to fill my calling and
To give the best in me
To guard my every neighbor
And protect their property
