Day 2
The
tree removal company chose to bring in a 28 ton crane, as seen in the LH
picture below, to aid removal of cut limbs.
In both pictures, if you look closely, a man can be seen high in the
tree tying off the crane’s hook. Special
thanks to my neighbor, Joy for snapping these shots as I was unable to be
there.

Patio
removal also meant ‘steps to the back door’ removal. Luckily, I had enough concrete block from
projects past to stack together temporary steps.

Since
tree removal was my responsibility, I took the opportunity to have the tree
company do some other work. Here’s an
action shot of their stump grinder getting rid of a stump from a hackberry tree
I cut down last year.

To cap the day, the backhoe operator checked in to
make sure he could start work on Monday.
