Day 113
As
I had every reason to suspect, the concrete and brickwork turned out looking
great. I was especially proud of how
good the brick under the bay window looked as the installation of such was my
idea, and good aesthetically oriented
ideas by Tom are few & far between: ![]()

These
guys were fast, too because the concrete forms were still in place when I left
for work that morning, and when I got home the forms had been removed & all
three sets of steps were complete without a worker in sight. The bricks were washed a couple of days
later.

A
crew from Cell-Pak stopped by and installed mirrors in both the master bath and
dressing areas. They also brought &
installed a shower door.

Speaking
of the shower, here’s a couple of pix of Rodney & Dennis’s floor-to-ceiling
tile work:

If
I had a camera with a wide-angle lens, you would be treated to a view of the
soap & shampoo alcoves located to the right of the shower controls. But I don’t , so you won’t! ![]()

With
most of the work completed on Project Big Tub, A1 came & got their
Porta-Potti. Although it was clean and
well maintained, hot afternoons will be pleasantly different without that
distinct chemical smell wafting across the area.

The builder tells me he is trying to schedule his
guys & the cultured marble pros for a tub fixin’ party. I’ll post updates after the big get-together.
