Highway Star at Nashville EuroFest 2001

Other NABMS members attending were Tim Greenlee (TR8), Frank Tarpley (TR8), and Ray Gause (Jaguar Mark I).

Frank Schwartz from Hendersonville, TN was there with his 1974 Jensen Interceptor, the "Silver Bullet."

A car I considered buying before getting the Jensen, a Sunbeam Tiger now owned by Bob Rice of Nashville, was also there. Bob is taking good care of "my" Tiger!

For judging purposes, all the V-8 powered British cars were in a single class. Thus all the Interceptors, TR8s, and Tigers were together, along with a stunning Aston-Martin convertible and a lovely Daimler SP250 Dart. If I am remembering right, a Tiger took first place, the Aston took second, and another Tiger took third. Unfortunately Bob's Tiger wasn't a winner. Most surprising was that the Silver Bullet was shut out, considering it took first place at the 2000 Jensen National meet last fall.

The NABMS wasn't totally shut out, though. Ray won an award in the Jaguar class, but I can't remember which place.
