Jensen Interceptors were entirely hand-built in England by Jensen Motor Company. The base price, including shipping from England, was $13,500.00, a very expensive automobile (The VW Beetle in 1971 cost $2000.) at the time.

The automobile’s top speed is around 140 mph and it’s cruise speed in all Road & Track tests was 132 mph.

The current owner has won a number of awards with the vehicle as is, but as a restorer of Concours quality British automobiles acknowledges that this Interceptor has great potential. An interesting bit of nostalgia is that this 1971 Jensen Interceptor MKII was originally purchased from Hollywood Sports Cars by the popular singer/songwriter Dusty Springfield.
