Campaign 1776: The American Revolution is a tactical/operational level game covering the major battles of the American Revolution from the first clashes at Concord and Lexington to the Siege of Yorktown. The game combines a detailed tactical game engine with a higher level campaign game so that the player can fight individual battles, a campaign covering several battles, or the entire Revolutionary War. While Napoleon normally dominates this period of history, this game features a tactical/operational level game covering the major battles of the War of 1812 from the pre-war Battle of Tippecanoe to the post-war Battle of New Orleans. The game includes the same detailed tactical game engine as the earlier game Campaign 1776 and a higher level campaign game so that a player can fight individual battles or campaigns. The First World War? The French and Indian War was the North American part of a much larger war raging in the mid-Eighteenth Century called the Seven Years War. The Empires of Britain and France were struggling for control of multiple areas around the world. In North America, that struggle raged for 5 years in actions ranging from isolated skirmishes to full scale invasions. Quebec would be the primary prize for the armies and its fall would mean the almost guaranteed defeat of New France. For more information available at the HPS website, click here.

March across the plains of southern Texas with the 4th US Infantry which included in its ranks the young Lieutenant Sam Grant. Accompany the elite US Engineers, its members including Lee, Beauregard, McClellan, Joe Johnston and other soon-to-be-famous officers, as they pry into the Mexican dispositions to find an opening that would lead to victory. Bounce across the arroyos at Buena Vista on the seat of a caisson in a battery commanded by Captain Braxton Bragg, or ride with the US Dragoons alongside Dick Ewell, back in the days when he still had hair--and both legs!
