Andy Griffith Show on TV

I have had several people write in and ask when and where they can catch The Andy Griffith Show on TV.  Some people have noticed that the show is no longer a part of the daily schedule of Atlanta-based WTBS and Chicago-based WGN.  Fortunately, Nick at Night's TV Land cable station has begun broadcasting the show.  Both the show and the station are owned by Viacom, a media conglomerate.  It is my understanding that this arrangement will not preclude local television stations from broadcasting the show as many currently do.

Daily Mayberry programming schedule from TV Land:

The Andy Griffith Show is on each night on the national cable station TV Land.  Check local listings for the time in your area.

For a schedule of the upcoming episodes to be shown, visit TV Now Entertainment.

For an episode guide, including the order in which the episodes are traditionally broadcast, visit The Andy Griffith Show Rerun Watchers Club Official Website.

The Andy Griffith Show episodes will NOT be completely uncut, but they will probably be more complete than some of the episodes other stations have shown.   Also, the actual episode quality should be extraordinarily clear and clean looking.  TV Land may also run special events with complete episodes from time to time.
