God has been good to us.


We have 2 wonderful children, a great son-in-law, a terrific grandson, and soon will have an additional grandson.

Jimmy is still working with the same company that he started with right out of college some 41 years ago. He also has 3 chicken houses that he keeps out on our farm and his third job is church music. He is leading the music at a local church and the church members have become very special to us. It is a warm, friendly group of people with hearts full of love for God and His people. They have certainly been a blessing to me in the year and a half that we've been there.

We are proud of our children and it is so good to have them live close enough that we can experience their daily joys and triumphs and to be there in times of need.....even to cry over a stumped toe if necessary or to baby sit if needed. But the great thing is.....they are good to their old parents. :-)

Our grandson is a special joy to us. It is great to watch those little eyes light up at the joys of learning something new, to watch the excitement in his body as he sees his daddy coming down the drive, to watch as he is observing the "manly" activities of his daddy or his Grandpa tinkering with a motor or feeding the animals, to listen to the giggles as the dogs lick the sticky candy from his fingers, and to listen to the childs voice as he bows his head and says the blessing at mealtime. HOW SWEET IT IS!!
