The Power of Grayskull comes to DVD Posted Wednesday, March 9, 2005, 3:08AM CST by Franklin Harris BCI Eclipse will release the 1980s cartoon series "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" on DVD, beginning with a 10-episode "best of" set in July, which will be followed by a season 1 set in the fall. BCI plans to release the entire 135-episode series, plus the 65-episode "New Adventures of He-Man" series (1991-91) and the "He-Man/She-Ra Christmas Special."

'Halloween' producer Hill dies at 54 Posted Wednesday, March 9, 2005, 1:53AM CST by Franklin Harris Movie producer Debra Hill, who co-wrote "Halloween" with director John Carpenter, died Monday. She was 54 and had been battling cancer for about a year. Hill's credits include "The Fog," "Escape from New York" and "The Fisher King."

Cage to star in 'Wicker Man' remake Posted Wednesday, March 9, 2005, 1:47AM CST by Franklin Harris Nicolas Cage has signed to star in writer/director Neil LaBute's remake of "The Wicker Man," set to begin filming in Vancouver on July 15. The original 1973 film starred Christopher Lee and Edward Woodward.

Paramount gets 'Invincible' Posted Wednesday, March 2, 2005, 2:26AM CST by Franklin Harris Paramount Pictures has purchased the movie rights to Robert Kirkman's comic book "Invincible." Paramount hopes to launch a franchise based on Kirkman's teenage superhero.
