V8 with 255 net HP at 4000rpm, and 405 lb.-ft net of torgue at 2400 rpm, a 4 speed 4L80E automatic overdrive transmission, a 4.10 rear axle ratio. An improved instrument cluster which includes a tachometer. Available in Onyx Black, Victory Red and Summit White.

 Other 454SS standard featues include luxury-level Silverado trim with special blackout effects, plus-tinted glass, halogen composite headlamps.
