Geographic Distance

You can use this form to compute the distance between two points on the Earth. The computed distance is a great-circle approximation to the actual distance.

Enter values in decimal degrees, degrees and minutes, or degrees, minutes, and seconds. Separate minutes and seconds using spaces or colon (:) characters.

Use negative numbers for west longitudes and south latitudes. Choose Compute to get the geographic distance.

The distance will be reported in meters, and latitudes and longitudes will be reported in decimal degrees.
