MY BLOOD RUNS ORANGE! (This page contains wav sound so please be patient while the sound file loads; if you are a REAL VOLUNTEER the wait will be worth it; thanks.) I was a VOL fan when Hank Lauricella, Andy Kozar, Bert Rechichar, and then the Majors family, were running the ball for UT.  I have remained a loyal fan through all the bad years as well as the good. This page will contain pictures regarding the VOLS; I don't think any are copyrighted but if I am notified otherwise they will be removed immediately.

1998 National Champions

Phillip Fulmer, the winningest active head coach in America, is portrayed with an intensity that is reflected in his players. All-American linebacker Al Wilson, the heart and soul of the team, patrols the middle of the defense. Big-play man Peerless Price returns a kickoff for a TD against Bama, and also makes a leaping catch in the Fiesta Bowl. Versatile fullback Shawn Bryson blazes past the Gator defense on his way to paydirt. Spiritual leader Jeff Hall, also known for his game-winning kicks, offers a pre-game prayer alongside his team mate. The Florida game scoreboard, The National Championship game scoreboard, and Ayers Hall,
famed University landmark are included in the scene. And last but not least, who will ever forget John Ward, perhaps the most beloved figure in UT sports history. He counts down the season as well as his broadcast career by proclaiming: "Five, four, three, two, one, The National Champion is clad in Big Orange!
