TOYS 'N PETS

When I was in high school (and I'm telling my age) the Corvette made its big splash on the production scene. Since I am a Chevy man through and through (my Dad was a mechanic and later shop foreman at Rambo Chevrolet in Fayetteville for over 35 years) I immediately fell in love with it. I made myself a promise that I would own one someday. It took me 19 years but I finally bought a brand new 1972 Sting Ray! I kept it 10 years and traded for an '82 T-top, kept it 11 years and traded for this '93 40th Anniversary convertible (which I may be buried in.) I can just sit down behind the steering wheel and feel young again!

I have loved animals since I was very small and have owned several cats and dogs; well, dogs anyway for no one ever really owns a cat. My last two pets that so graciously shared my abode were two Himalayans, Casper and Misty. Casper was a cream point and Misty was a blue point.

Casper: Casper in my briefcase; yes, I worked at one time.

Misty: This is Misty sitting in the kitchen window; she was a very petite female. Casper died in 1997 and Misty died in 1999. I haven't yet decided if I will have another pet.
