On Father's day, 1999, my niece Alexa rented a cabin on Monte Sano Mountain and she and her Dad, Roy, spent the weekend at the cabin. I joined them Saturday afternoon for a cook out and we all three had our cameras with us. Late Saturday evening, the wild creatures (other than us) began to prowl around the cabin. These next few photos will be of those creatures.

Larry and the other wild creature. This raccoon apparently had visited humans before because he did not appear to be frightened of us at all; he came very close two or three times.

Another shot of the raccoon. I'm surprised this turned out as good as it did since it was so dark and all we had was the flash of our cameras.

Another wild creature. This is a fox which came close, but not as close as the raccoon. Apparently the fox was not as trusting as the raccoon. I finally remembered I had a portable spot light with me so we shined it on the fox to get this picture and he didn't like the spot light very much.

Posin'! Alexa and Roy.

Sunset in Tennessee. This is on one of the back roads in Tennessee that Roy, Alexa, and I traveled one Sunday afternoon.
