Pickin' and Grinnin': Before I became so involved with Barbershop singing, I played around with the guitar (occasionally still do).  Here, I am playing and singing Froggy Went a Courtin' (the Christmas book is just there for looks) for my niece Jennie's oldest son, John.  He was very quick to point out to me that I was not singing the correct words! (I sometimes supply my own.) John has now graduated from high school (in 2000). My, how time flies! (I even had hair then!)

Part of my family taken during Christmas 1996. Front row, from left to right: sister Dot, niece Alexa (Roy's daughter), grand nephews John and Josh (Gary and Jennies' sons), with Jennie (Nancy's oldest daughter) and Gary (Jennies' husband) immediately behind Josh; on the back row, niece Lori (Nancy's youngest daughter), yours truly, then Eric (Lori's husband), sister Nancy, brother James, and brother Roy.

This picture was taken in Nov '98 in Woodstock, VA where by brother Richard (a Baptist Minister) and his wife Tiny live. Front row, left to right: Tiny, Richard, sister Dot and the back row is brother Roy and yours truly. (Isn't that a pretty shirt I have on?)

This is the same picture as the above; however, I played around with it a little. ;)
