LARRY'S WORLD OF BARBERSHOP
(Continued)

4-Gone-Conclusion: I started singing in a quartet as soon as I got the chance. After going through a few personnel changes, this configuration of 4-Gone-Conclusion remained together and performed for the public for quite some time. From left to right, Roy, Bobby, Larry, and John.

4-Gone-Conclusion: Hamming it up at an Afterglow (a Barbershop party).
And here we are singing the same song during our tour in Africa.

High Society: The baritone who sang with us as 4-Gone-Conclusion dropped out, so we found a replacement and renamed ourselves High Society; Roy, Rob, John, and Larry.

High Society, but with a different configuration. Russ, John, Ken, and Larry. This configuration stayed together longer than any other and performed for the public more than any other.

B-Sharp: After High Society disbanded, I went for some time without singing in a quartet and it nearly drove me wild. Consequently, I consented to sing Baritone (I normally sing Lead) in order to sing in a quartet. Here I am with B-Sharp, singing on the square in Fayetteville, TN in front of the local cinema. From left to right, Allen, Bill, Pat, and Larry.

B-Sharp: Again, singing in Fayetteville in front of a local Barbershop on the square. While we were singing, we noticed that someone was taking pictures with a camcorder but we thought nothing of it. A year or so later, I discovered that our picture was included in a travel brochure advertising Middle Tennessee and being distributed by a Welcome Center on I-65. Naturally I had to go there and obtain a
few copies. Note, however, that we are billed as the Fayetteville Square Quartet! (I hope that is referring to the town square and not a description of the quartet!)
After I had my accident and hurt my knee, I had to drop out of the chorus for over four years. When I returned, just about everyone who wanted to be in a quartet was in one so I went for several months without a quartet and it was driving me crazy! Finally I got my chance........the bass singer for one of the quartets decided he had had enough and dropped out of the quartet. I was right there to volunteer to sing bass in the quartet. So, I was auditioned and they liked what they heard so I am now singing bass in a quartet named Familiar Ring. Here is a picture of us:

From left to right, Fred on baritone, Larry on bass, Brown on Tenor, and Kurt on lead.
