ANCESTRAL PHOTOS
Several months ago, I became interested in the genealogy of my family. After extensive research and a lot of help from a cousin I didn't know I had (Wayne Moyers in Granbury, TX), I finally assembled a good file on Moyers. Then, with more help from two more cousins I didn't know, I assembled a good file on Armstrong and Cole, my Mother's side. Then, with information supplied by another cousin I didn't know (George Waller), I assembled information on Smith, my Father's other side. During that time, my cousin David Moyers, Jr. of Fayetteville, located a few old photos of my dad's parents, and brothers. These are priceless because I had never seen them before! (David is deceased now, but I will forever be grateful for these pictures.) The pictures are included in this site. Also included are some shots of my immediate family. I have not included any pictures of me when I was young because I was so cute you probably couldn't stand it! ;)

My paternal grandparents, Daniel A. and Jennie V. Moyers. (This is one of the pics I had not seen.)

My paternal grandmother, Jennie V. Moyers, and her boys. From left to right, Uncle Earl, Uncle Will, Roy (my father), and in front, Uncle Rex. I have no idea when this was taken but I'm guessing somewhere around 1914.

My Dad, Roy. During this time period, one could have one's picture taken in almost any type of costume. This practice was very popular then. (Again, I am guessing somewhere between 1915 and 1920.)

My parents, Jennie and Roy. They were the best!
