West of Highway 31 in Swan Creek Wildlife Mgmt Area between Decatur and Athens Alabama. Take I-565 west from Huntsville or off of I-65 until road branches at Hwy 31 to Decatur River Bridge. Take right fork follow Hwy 31 North towards Athens, pass Hardees, Calhoun Community College on right and Delphi Saginaw Gear Plant fenceon left. Turn left at light at Oakland Church and Caterpillar (CAT) tractor store at the end of the Saginaw fence onto Thomas Hammonds road. Go1 mile to rail road crossing then road bears right, 1 mile to Nials plant, then .5 mile more road bears left (west) .5 more mile road bears right (north) and you cross the creek. ¼ mile past creek bridge on the right side of the road is gate on to range. If you come to intersection of Laughmiller road you went ½ mile to far. Turn around.
