N1918Q Goes to the Aerodrome






Big day...N1918Q goes to the airport.

I rented a 26' U-Haul truck and everything was securely transported in one trip.








Able assistants were my brother Tim and flying cohort Greg (FlyBaby project).












The wings were strapped to the sides of the box. A dozen blankets prevented any damage during the move.























After four hours of transport, unloading and assembly, the total color scheme appeared.

I like it.










The RV-6 has a new roomie.









The empty nest.

The '74 Beetle has returned to its home.
