The Bug has real brakes! The old front drum brakes were set aside and new spindles, rotors, calipers, pads, bearings, and seals were installed along with new hoses and slave cylinders on the rear brakes. The tie rods were disassembled, cleaned and painted then everything put back together and aligned.
The stuff in the front compartment is going back into the car piece by piece. The gas tank is back from repair and can be painted and installed since the front suspension and brakes are finished.
