This was Rhonda's first studio photo.  She got a Barbie camera for her fourth birthday and when we got the first rolls of film back we saw that after the first 1/2 roll that she was framing her subjects.  This photo was taken 2 weeks after her 4th birthday. 



After shooting she wanted to get her photo taken.  At home in front of and behind the camera!
   I am using the Sony Mavica FD-88 with a Tiffen UV filter and in some photos I am also using a Tiffen warming filter.  

   For the light source I am using an Excalibur 1600, 160 watt mono light, fitted with a Photek SoftlighterII, which is a hybrid umbrella/softbox device which I have inserted the  gold insert that came with the Softlighter.

  I am triggering the monolight with a "peanut slave" attached to the front of the camera and covered with a black tee shirt to hide the on camera flash.  
   I am also using a gold Photoflex 22" Light Disk reflector.
