Hey guys, I'm new to the art of sculling and the site and just wanted you to know how amazing it has been. This was my second year "under the oar" with a boat a buddy and I built from G&L plans. I started this season in Greene County, Alabama sculling in creeks and sloughs and ended up in Guntersville, Alabama closing day. Between six of us we shot over twenty birds mostly Gadwall with a few Blue Bill mixed in. My last scull was on some Red Head, which I have never shot, and I called the shot too early and blew it. It was good because it left much to be desired for next season. Anyway, I feel blessed to have become so intiment with the birds that fill my head in dreams every night. I'ld love to talk shop with anyone. We're learning, but the hard way, which is good. Peace out boys.
