Thanks....Yes I have been to many sites on sculling like the duck hunter boat page and scull boat specs! lots of great information. I think I understand the concept, but my knowledge is pretty basic or limited. I know alot about duck hunting, just never have put the two together. I looking to sculling for alternative or another choice on certain days vers a full time passion. I am looking to purchase a used boat, just to give it a try & see where it takes me. I am looking for tips on a good introduction boat that has the most flexability (water types). I live in San Rafael, California next to china camp (san Francisco Bay)and look at the bird rafting all the time. My family is from North East Calif. and spend alot of time hunting in the valley (sac.) I will use it in lakes, the bay, delta and mabe some rivers. ROG gave a great tip on a double vers a single. Not sure it the Humboldt style is best for me or if I should consider a Brant. Need to consider waves in big water. I appreciate the recomendations and help. Ken
