Transmission Gear Lightening

It is true what they say about gear lightening.  I noticed a totally different feel to the shifting and no more grinding of gears from those worn synchros.  What follows are a few pictures of my experience of machining of the gears in my transmission.  This is not a very easy job to do since the gears are hardened, but with the proper tooling you can accomplish the task
