Not many years ago, the Morrow edition of Vinland
the Good was an extremely hot commodity, even
considered a rare Shute title. It almost seems they
have proliferated and now you see them regularly.

Besides the Morrow printing and the rare Heinemann (British) First
Edition, I am only aware of one other printing of this title.... a reprint done
by a bookdealer. I mention this only for the purpose of letting you know
that if you have a copy of Vinland the Good, with a dust jacket such as
the one in the image at the top of this page, it is safe to assume that your's
is indeed a first edition.
