I have been told that, beyond the Morrow edition, there is another
edition of this title distributed by Grosset and Dunlap. The only
noticeable differences in the two editions are found on the dust
jacket. On the Grosset and Dunlap edition there is a G&P imprint on
the very bottom edge of the spine of the dust jacket as well as on the
inside edges of both the front and rear of the dust jacket. Obviously,
it is absent on the Morrow edition.

The books appear to be identical for both issues, perhaps even being printed off
the same plates. The cover is a tan cloth , sometimes described as an oatmeal
color, with a burgundy band, outlined with three small lines on each side and the
word "Kindling" printed in the middle of the band as shown above. Upon closer
inspection you will notice two stars, one above and one below the band, that
adorn the cover.

It is always important to check the copyright page to make sure no other
additional printings (ex. second printing) are shown. I have never seen a second
printing of this title but I couldn't say for certain that there were none.
