If you haven't visited The Nevil Shute Book Page recently,
you will notice several new additions. |
|
First Editions Tips and Dust Jackets: We have added
new 1st edition dust jacket images to the Morrow and Heinemann pages, and have created a new Cassell/Houghton Mifflin page. |
|
E-mail: Please make note of our new e-mail address. When sending us
correspondence, make sure you type the name "Nevil Shute" into the subject field of your e-mail message, so that it isn't deleted, due to being mistaken for spam mail. |
|
First Edition Dust Jacket Images Needed: Thanks to the generosity of our good
viewers, we have made much progress in the dust jacket images we provide on the website. There are still a few we have not been able to obtain. If you have any of these first edition titles with the dust jacket, or access to them, and you would like to help us make these images available to the visitors of this site, please contact me by e-mail. Some of the dust jacket images we need are listed below:
Cassell (1932) edition of Lonely Road
Heinemann (1938) edition of Ruined City
Heinemann (1940) edition of An Old Captivity
Heinemann (1942) edition of Pied Piper

Several of the new dust jacket images were provided to me by Mr. Johan Bakker and
Mr. Jim Whitford. We appreciate the contributions by these gentlemen. Additional thanks is in order to Mel Barnes, who assisted in the most recent update to this website. |

Nevil Shute Photographs: For the interest of our visitors, and to make the website
more visually appealing, we are always interested in adding new photos of Nevil Shute to our site. If you happen to have any photo images from your personal collection that you would like to donate to the site for the enjoyment of the visitors, please contact me. I am looking for photo images that are not currently used on other websites to add a bit of variety. If you are unsure how to scan or send images on the web, but have old photos you would like to share with the other viewers, please send me an email and I will be happy to instruct you as to the easiest way to accomplish this task |
