Rachel
Crothers wrote Everyday especially for Tallulah. The story concerned
a young woman who returns to her small hometown in Missouri after being
abroad for two years and finds that her perceptions of her family have
changed dramatically. The critics dismissed the play but they gave Tallulah
glowing compliments.
Talllulah's
comments: "An imaginative elf...I sniffed stardom. But my nose
betrayed me."
