This was another controversial contemporary film similar to A Woman Of Affairs. The title refers to the single standard that men have over women in sexual matters. Garbo plays a woman who decides to have an affair with a sailor rather than marry the man who truly loves her. It was another huge hit which was fueled by tag lines advertising it "for adults only". It was also a very good looking film with sharp cinematography, art deco sets and chic clothes.
