Synopsis: Political intrigue, betrayal and revenge in ancient Rome.
Comments: A surprise hit for MGM, Julius Caesar helped relieve the disaster of Scandal at Scourie which was released a few weeks later. Garson plays Calpurnia in this tastefully done adaptation. The film earned big money at the box office and earned an Oscar nomination for Brando.
