Lars Hanson  Lars Hanson was born July 26, 1886 in Goteborg, Sweden.  He made his first film in 1913 and was successful in Swedish cinema for many years culminating in the international success of The Saga Of Gosta Berling (1924).  MGM invited him to Hollywood the same year as Garbo and he made films there for four years.  In 1928, he returned to Europe and continued to act until his death in 1965.  He was married to actress Karin Molander.  Films with Greta Garbo:  The Saga of Gosta Berling    Flesh And The Devil  The Divine Woman   Leading Men Index
