Every Woman's Husband

Released July 1918

Cast: Gloria Swanson, Joe King, Lillian Langdon, George Pearce
Director: Gilbert P. Hamilton

Plot: A young woman whose domineering mother almost ruins her marriage eventually learns that mother does not always know best when her father commits suicide.

Another mediocre film that most critics dismissed as silly. Gloria was disappointed with how things were going at Triangle although she was thankful she was no longer working for Mack Sennett. During the filming of Every Woman's Husband, Gloria was approached by Cecil B. De Mille to work for him but her contract with Triangle did not allow it.
