Garbo Incognito Gallery
Following her retirement, Garbo was constantly stalked by the paparazzi. They didn't discourage her, however, from traveling and walking the streets of New York. Garbo walked every day and loved to window shop (she rarely bought anything!). Few people dared approach her and those who did were ignored or threatened.
