A paintball CHARITY scenario game that can only be described as, "Better than the rest!" 
JURASSIC LARK III  - The battle between the Scientist and the Costa Rican army began at 11:00 am and continued throughout the afternoon.  In the woods were literally thousands of small orange dinosaur eggs worth one point each and at certain "nests" very large eggs worth 25 points each.  In between were a variety of other props each having it's own value or usefulness.  Of more importance were the presence of two very live and carnivorous raptors who roamed the woods in search of easy prey.  If you were very still they moved past you.  If you shouted or taunted them or foolishly fired at them then they attacked with a vengeance that usually sent the player to the resurrection area immediately.  This was the perfect game for a warm summer day!  Check out the photos!

Center: William and Martin Mann controlled smoke bomb detonations in a safe manner throughout the day so no fires were created.  The dinosaurs (left) moved about the field unaffected by random fire from players and ignored props or eggs other than the large T-Rex eggs that they guarded.  If you ran for one of these eggs you better be ready for a violent attack that could ensue.    www.give2thetroops.org will receive a $300.00 donation along with several dozen items from their published list of "needed" items posted on their website.  I was proud to see 50 pounds of high protein dog food going to some lucky GSD overseas.  I can just see that wagging tail now!  Thanks to all the players who attended this game and thanks for all the compliments you gave Brian and Mt. Doom after the game.  We hope we can continue these charity events many times in the 2010 game year coming up.  Look for another Jurassic Lark game next year.  After all, we've got to do something with the 2000 orange plastic eggs that are lying about in the woods!
