Mt. Doom 24HOURGAMES

After much thought and consideration 24HourGames ( WWW.24HOURGAMES.COM ), formerly located in Dalton, GA. has announced that they are moving their multi-annual games to Mt. Doom Paintball Field.  This means that we will be holding several yearly BIG events including the all time favorite "Toys-For-Tots" game right here in Hanceville.  24HOURGAMES is Andy "Hoop" Sheppard and Jack "Ajax" McClellan. Both are former players who gear everything toward what they have seen in the past and what players want to see in the present and future. Collectively, they have played in well over a hundred scenario games throughout the United States since 1998 and have produced games in Georgia since 2002.  Jack McClellan grew up playing the big back woods areas of Mt. Doom as a young lad and I hope grew to love scenario paintball from his experiences at my field. 24HOURGAMES will be developing games specific to the new area we are building at Mt. Doom.  Watch these pages for photos of the new fields.

Father and sons join together to lay down overlapping fields of fire.  If the going gets really tough dad carries a LAW rocket launcher that can fire a nerf rocket accurately  200 feet or more.  A LAW can take out a tank or a large bunker filled with players.  It always pays to go prepared to a scenario game!   PHOTOS OF THE NEW FIELDS AS THEY COME IN HERE!!!

Above: The Flying Monkey is the symbol for a group dedicated to having fun, winning points and taking home the best stories from a scenario game..  You are welcome to join the team and travel to area events.

MANN VS. MANN--MOONSHINE WARS--JUNE 6

So you want to hear a story do you?  I got one for you.  It's the story of the Mann brothers.  You see the Mann family has been brewing moonshine back in these mountains for as long as anyone could remember.  The head of the family was a old white bearded man they called  "Pappy" and he had two sons that were meaner than a skillet full of rattlesnakes .  One was named Martin, and the other William.  Martin was determined to follow in Pappy's footsteps and continue the family trade.  Martin once said, "When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading."  William was different.  He decided he was too good for this kind of life.  He left for the big city and got hisself a fancy education and became a top dog law man.  Then one day out of the blue he came back to the mountain and told the family they couldn't "shine" no more.  That didn't set to well with Pappy and Martin, and that's where this story really begins.  Now get out there and get you're chores done!
