This page is dedicated to Cornelius Dooley and Hannah Page.
Cornelius is my great grandfather and my oldest progenitor in the Dooley
line. I know something of all his descendants who carry the Dooley name.
Cornelius migrated from Ireland sometime before 1855. He came, rumor hath
it, through Canada down into New York State where he settled in the town
of Worcester in Otsego County. I have listed below all his deceased descendants
that I have been able to locate.
Hannah Page, maiden name unknown, is my great grandmother on my mother's
side. I believe she migrated from Ireland after two of her sons, Patrick
and John, who probably arrived just before the Civil War. I found her living
with my Great Uncle John Page and his family in College Corner, Ohio, in
1870.
