Night Shining Cup

Night Shining Cup

The ancient Chinese culture produced an item, highly prized and treasured:

which may be translated:

"Night Light Cup" or "Night Shining Cup"

(it's written in Japanese, by the way)

These exquisite cups were carved from a white stone. So fine and reflective, they seemed to glow in the dark. Mere starlight was sufficient.

Two independent friends of mine produce eye-witness testimony: "Confirming the existence of these revered pieces in Chinese museums."

Sadly, I have never seen one. This is my interpretation of their separate and amazing stories.
